Stone Cottage Patio & BBQ
The cottage on the property offers two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, with a combination of hardwood flooring and luxurious carpeting. The living room boasts a variety of entertainment options, including a flat screen TV, DVD player and Wii video game console, all of which can be enjoyed while sitting in one of the overstuffed chairs or comfy leather couch nestled on top of oriental carpet. During the winter, the original stone, wood-burning fireplace offers comfort and charm to boarders, allowing a homey feeling, along with central heating to keep other rooms toasty as well. The wooden shutters allow guests to bring light in or keep it out, while the wooden panelling on the walls makes the cottage feel rustic and nicely aged, like a good wine.
The cottage also has central air conditioning for those warm summer nights. Along with a full kitchen, dining alcove and formal dining area for six or more, with wrought iron sconce wall lamps and a wrought-iron and a hand-painted chandelier, the cottage has two furnished patios, one in the front and one in the back, to enjoy the view and the fresh air. The furnished bedrooms boast comfortable beds, and the master bathroom throws people into another time with the decadent claw-foot bathtub.
The Barbeque area, located to the front of the cottage, has a large bar with all kinds of fun surprises. On the left side of the horse-shoe shaped bar is a fire pit there to ward off the chill of evenings in the country. In the middle, there is a barbeque. And on the right side of the bar, a flat screen TV pops out of the stone, allowing guests to watch the big game, or a couple new to wedded bliss to show everyone what led them to one another. Surrounded by stone pylons topped with cascading flower pots and romantic lighting, and a wrought-iron trellis that will flower come spring, the patio encompasses romance and style.
Located to the front of the property, this area can accommodate 200 people for sit down service. It can also be tented, if desired, with advanced notice.
